Heritage Park

After the 24th of July Parade we went to Heritage Park where the "This is the Place" monument is and had a tailgate picnic. Then most of us went to the pioneer village and enjoyed doing some of the pioneer activities.
Annie on her 1st pony ride. She was a little nervous at first, but she loved it! She talked about Misty (her pony) the rest of the day!:)

Eric found out how hard it was to pull a handcart. He only went around the yard with 2 kids and it was a work out. It really is a miracle that so many of the saints made it across the plains pulling handcarts.

Annie, Lydia, Emma, and Kayleigh got their faces painted.

The train ride that everyone waited so patiently for!
