Watkins Glen

Today we went on a fun day trip to Watkins Glen about an hour and half from Rochester. It is a beautiful drive and a gorgeous hike. We had been told by friends that this is one place that you definately have to see while living in Rochester.

It is just a mile and a half hike up with 19 different waterfalls of all shapes and sizes. We had to pack both kids because the hike has a lot of stairs.

Annie and Cameron loved all of the waterfalls, especially this one that we got to walk behind.

The day was especially fun because we went with our friends the Hendersons, Rogers, and the O'Neils. There were 8 adults and 6 kids. We got a lot of comments about our young, cute children as we passed everyone. Annie is the oldest at 2 1/2 and the youngest two are 4 months. It is so nice to have friends that love to do the same things that you do.

We made it to the top just in time for lunch. The kids enjoyed running around while the parents rested up for the hike down.

I love that you guys get out and explore the area you live in. It looks like such a fun day trip and I'm seriously impressed that you are out hiking with a kid on back and one in front; however, you don't even look prego!
