I have been meaning to post this blog for a while and so it is kind of old news. Two weeks ago Eric hurt his hand playing with our ward in a basketball tournament. It was very swollen and sore and so he decided to go to the doctor a few days later. The x-ray showed that Eric broke his fourth metacarpal (ring finger bone down in the hand). He gets to wear this lovely splint for four weeks and then his hand should be as good as new!

Yikes! Sorry to hear about that hand. You Christensen boys crack me up with all or nothing sports mentality. You just don't want to admit that you're all getting older and a little less agile. Hope you heal quickly!
