Can I really have an 8 year old? Annie turned 8 on Sunday, September 23rd. She got to
have a birthday party on Saturday with her friends. She has been
planning it for a long time which made it easy for me. She told me what
she wanted to do and when and I said OKAY!!! She decided she wanted to
have a cowgirl party. The first thing she did was have the girls
decorate hats to pin on the cowgirl. Then we had a pizza and lemonade.
After that it was time to put on swimsuits and have a water balloon
fight and play in the sprinkler on the trampoline. Then we had cake
which has a yummy ice cream cake. After cake the girls did barrel
racing on a broom with cowboy hats on. At the very end Annie opened up
presents. She loved them all! She kept telling me, "This is the best
day ever!" It doesn't take much to make kids happy!!!
