Visit from Grandma and Grandpa Christensen

We were so excited to have Grandma and Grandpa Christensen come and visit over Memorial Day weekend. We had been counting down the days and we so excited when they got to Rochester on Friday night. We had "Cafe Rio" type burrito/salads for dinner and then played out back on our playground. Saturday morning I went for a run with a friend, Eric went and played Ultimate frisbee and Gr-ma and Gr-pa took the kids for a walk to the park. After that we headed to Corbett's Glen for a hike, splash and a picnic. Then later that night we went to Red Robin's and then went and got ice cream. Sunday was a nice day of church and a walk through the cemetary. On Monday morning Eric and I were able to go running together which we don't get to do very often and then Eric and his parents took the kids on a walk again. Then we headed to one of our favorite summer time spots called the Splash Pad. The weather was nice and hot which was perfect to get wet in. Then on Monday night was had a delicious bar-b-que with homemade ice cream for dessert. We had a wonderful weekend and hope that Grandma and Grandpa had fun too!
